I adore oats. There quick, healthy and nutritious. This is pretty much my staple breakfast each morning! I like to add cinnamon and cardamon and serve with pear, sultanas or fresh strawberries as per today’s pic.
Whole grain oats is what you want to look for they really take no longer than there processed quick prep relative.
I cook them with water and add my favorite rice or soy milk towards to end off cooking
1 cup oats
Enough water to come up past the oats about 1 inch
Cardamon (both to your taste)
1/4 cup Non dairy milk
Drizzle of maple syrup or agave to serve
Add all ingredients apart from milk to a saucepan over a medium heat and store occasionally until thick and creamy. Add more water if you feel. Adjust spices and add milk towards to end
Serve with your choice of toppings.
